A warm and inviting experience with the personality of a Mediterranean hideaway. Chef Donna Scala's rustic fare incorporates local fruits, vegetables, meat and fowl into traditional fresh Italian dishes with her signature creative flair. Freshly baked breads local olive oil, beautiful salads, tasty appetizers an homemade pastas are inspired by bounty of Napa Valley. Main courses offer an array of regionally sourced and highest quality creations of chicken, steaks, burgers and seafood. The bar features hundreds of Napa Valley and Italian wines as well as a host of signature cocktails.
Donna and Giovanni enjoy their customers. When not in the kitchen or greeting guests at the front door, you will often find them enjoying conversation at their guests’ tables. This convivial attitude is infused in their service team that they consider to be the very best in the Valley.
Servers are friendly and courteous, attentive and efficient and always knowledgeable about our food and drink. And, because they are local professionals and not simply young kids passing through town, they “know” the Valley and can tell you what other places are worth a visit!

Scott has been Executive Chef at Bistro Don Giovanni since 2002. With a talent for creating fresh takes on Italian and French Country classics, Scott continues to delight Don Giovanni’s patrons with daily menus inspired by the ingredients of the season.
Before joining Donna and Giovanni, Scott worked in various New York bistros and for three years as chef at a popular Los Angeles restaurant, Warner moved in 1994 to San Francisco to work with Reed Hearon at Restaurant Lulu and later as executive chef at Rose Pistola where he garnered a James Beard Award for “Best New Restaurant.”
